House Rules
Welcome to MY IMPACT
To ensure that all trainers, clients and guests feel comfortable with us, we have established a few common rules.
They are intended to ensure cleanliness, safety and respectful interaction.
1. Conduct in the Studio
Every trainer is responsible for cleanliness, order and the well-being of their own participants.
When the door to Room A is closed, a class is generally taking place. Please make your clients aware of the need to move quietly and mindfully through the space.
After using a room, please leave it tidy. All equipment and utensils must be returned to their original place. Please report any damage immediately – in the event of damage caused by your own actions, we ask you to provide a replacement.
Animals must not be left unattended in the studio. Young children should also not be left unsupervised in the rooms, changing rooms, kitchen or reception area.
No liability is assumed for the changing rooms – please lock away valuables.
Conflicts should never be discussed in front of clients. Please use the kitchen as a private space for this purpose.
Please do not use the WhatsApp group for personal communication between trainers.
Please ensure that your participants train with clean shoes, put equipment back after use and take their personal belongings with them.
Lost & Found: at the entrance, underneath the orange table.
Check your rooms before and after every session.
Equipment from the shared equipment shelf may be used.
Please bring additional equipment yourself or share it after prior agreement.
Ventilate regularly. If the air quality is bothering you, please coordinate politely with your colleagues.
The last person in the studio is responsible for making sure that the lights and music are switched off, the air conditioning is set to 1000, and the entrance door is locked.
Alcohol is not permitted in the studio. Smoking is only permitted outside – not in front of the entrance and not at the emergency exit door in the kitchen.
2. Communication
Not urgent → Email
Very important → WhatsApp
Urgent → Call
Please inform us immediately if anything is damaged, dirty or unusual (feel free to include a photo in the group).
WhatsApp group “New Wave Gym”: exclusively for relevant information for all trainers.

3. Access & Safety
Access is via the TapKey App (NFC/Bluetooth). Please always lock the studio when you are the last person to leave.
If the studio is not locked or the air conditioning is left on incorrectly, a fee of €50 will be charged.
Each trainer only has access during their class times (+30 minutes before/after).
If the app does not work: access chip in the key safe (code available from Justy & Niels).
When leaving: switch off the lights and ventilation, check the doors and return the chip to the safe.
Please inform us immediately of any changes to your phone number or email address so that access details remain up to date.
4. Sound System
Only switch on the music during your own session.
Please be considerate of parallel classes or personal training sessions and adjust the volume if necessary.
First turn up the volume on your phone, then on the sound system. Do not increase the volume via the “window area”.
No music may be played after 10:00 p.m. or before 7:00 a.m.
After your session, switch the sound system off completely.
5. Partition Walls, Ventilation & Heating
Partition walls may only be moved by people who have been instructed on their use. Please make sure that they are correctly locked into place.
Ventilation: exhaust air and supply air must always be set to the same level.
Recommended settings:
-
1000 = few people
-
1500 = approx. 10 people
-
3500 = 20+ people
The last person sets the ventilation to 980.
Please do not adjust the heating – it is programmed.
6. Kitchen & Equipment
The kitchen is exclusively for trainers.
Please bring your own food and dispose of expired food. Please do not leave perishable food behind.
Towels: may be borrowed; afterwards, please place them in the washing machine.
Washing machine: if possible, please hang up the laundry after washing. Thank you!
Fire extinguishers: at the entrance, in front of the technical room and in the kitchen.
First-aid kits: at the entrance (above the sofa) and in the kitchen.
Mail: please accept packages addressed to the studio and place them in the kitchen. Do not accept deliveries addressed to other people.
7. Information for Room Renters
Sessions are booked one month in advance (for 10-session blocks, accordingly 10 appointments).
Cancellations are only possible up to 48 hours in advance.
For 10-session blocks, please inform us of holiday periods in good time. In the event of longer breaks, slots will be reassigned.
Billing: invoice at the end of the month for the following month, payable within 7 days.
Having your own liability insurance is recommended.
Website: The class schedule in the Google Calendar and all trainers are always kept up to date – you can check at any time who is at the studio and when.
Under “Group Training” on the website, you can find the class schedule with links to your social media profiles or website.
In addition, each trainer has their own profile on the website.
For extended stays in the kitchen or reception area, an additional fee will be charged. Please ask us about the applicable conditions and amount.
8. Cleanliness & Respect
Basic cleaning takes place once a week.
If any mess or dirt occurs during the day, please communicate it immediately in the group (if necessary, with a photo).
Everyone is responsible for leaving the room clean after their own session.
Our studio is a shared workplace. Please treat one another with respect – everyone is equal and should feel comfortable here.
